The Chamber also sponsors the Lahore Businessmen Association for Rehabilitation of the Disabled (“Labard”). Because of the discrimination faced by the disabled, they lose motivation in life and consider themselves nothing but a burden on earth. To bring them into the mainstream of a productive society, the Chamber (through Labard) serves them not only as a conduit for jobs but also prepares them to competently handle their workplace responsibilities.
